About JSR
Built by someone who has sat on a hockey association board and felt the pain first-hand.
Our story
JSR Software Solutions was founded in 2025 by a board member of a local hockey association in Manitoba. From the board table, the challenges of running an association were hard to miss.
Information lived in multiple spreadsheets and documents, so getting a clear picture meant chasing people. The treasurer spent countless hours entering transactions. Members did not always get consistent information. Each time the board changed, knowledge left with the people who had it. And without a record of past seasons, it was hard to understand trends or plan ahead.
Those challenges were also an opportunity. JSR was started to bring an association's information together in one place, to save volunteers time, and to give boards and members the transparency and consistency they deserve.
Where we are today
We are starting with hockey, where we know the challenges best, and are currently running a pilot with a local club. As we grow, we are open to working with associations in other sports too.
